In the heart of the mesmerizing rolling hills, lived a young shepherd. His being was mostly untarnished, simple yet virtuous. His only responsibility was to look after his flock of rams.

Frustrated and alone, the boy fought against the wolf but could protect only few of his sheep. Heartbroken, he went back to the village only to be met with a scolding on honesty and the results of dishonesty.
The story of this shepherd boy has been passed down generations as a mediaeval parable for teaching the importance of honesty, the implications of dishonesty and the dangers of false alarms. Moreover, it stresses how trust once lost, is tough to reclaim. It's a story as relevant today as it was then.
